Hello Disney

Wow, we’ve been busy.  To wrap up the year this past week, everyone in our family has been either hit by the flu or crazy allergies.  From what I’ve seen on Facebook and Instagram, many of you are in the same boat.   Bring on the Lysol and chicken noodle soup.

As you may remember, last April I resigned from the position I held for over a decade to stay at home for a short while until both kids are in elementary school.  You guys – I hunkered down and relished the quality family time.  We took so many trips together, spent so many hours watching the kids play sports, and just enjoyed being together.  I also took on a (what can sometimes feel like a full-time) volunteer position to keep this brain of mine in check.  I don’t know if my brain is still in check, but I do know that these past few months flew by.

Looking Ahead to 2020

I’m so excited to make some updates to Four Points Mom and let you in on some exciting stuff going on here.  Some of you will be happy to hear that I’m going to post a 2019 Four Points Mom & Books Wrap-up.  I have about forty books that I need to fill you in on.  That overview post will be coming up soon.

Plus, I CANNOT wait to share with you our trip to Disney World.  We had so much fun – way more than expected.  I have tons of tips about what to do and what not to do.  You won’t want to miss that.

And, finally, I’m going to update my very popular grocery delivery posts, review our favorite Christmas gifts, tell you why I love (and hate) my Cricut, and so much more.  I even have an exciting giveaway coming up in my next post.  I can smell the freshly-baked cookies now … wait, did I give too much away?  😉

Before I go, I want to tell you about one of my favorite Christmas gifts the kids received.

You guys, to start 2020 off on the right foot both kids filled out their new gratitude journal yesterday and my heart about exploded.  After spending the past few days holed up in the house and my seemingly non-existent patience erupting all-too-occasionally, my kids both wrote about their thankfulness for our family and specifically some of the fun we’ve had this week.  It was such a wonderful reminder for me to journal about my own gratitude.  I wholeheartedly recommend this gratitude journal for your kids!

Until next time sweet friends.

XOXO
