Austin Playgrounds and Parks

If you live in the Four Points Area of Austin, you likely have a few playgrounds in your neighborhood that you frequently stop by.  However, I encourage you to explore a bit and try a new one.

My Four Points Restaurants with Play Areas resource is a great supplemental list of Four Points restaurants with playgrounds.

John Simpson Playground in Steiner Ranch

This is the only playground in the Four Points (I think) that I haven’t visited yet.  My friend, Erin, told me it’s a great playground to visit in the summer because it’s mostly shaded.  However, I believe she also mentioned there aren’t bathrooms there.

My review of Sun Tree Park will give you more details about this great neighborhood park. We still go here regularly – there’s something for all ages.
