Glowing Crazy at Urban Air Adventure Park

Glowing Crazy at Urban Air Adventure Park

Are you ready to party?!?!?  If so, keep reading because today I’m telling you all about the newest, most impressive, and amazingly fun birthday party venue for us here in the Four Points area of Austin:  Urban Air Adventure Park!

Urban Air Adventure Park opened its newest location near Lakeline Mall last spring and we’ve been dying to check it out.  When we heard that Urban Air Adventure Park wanted to partner with us to promote the new location, we were thrilled.  Foster wanted a glow in the dark birthday party at a place with trampolines … and boy did Urban Air overdeliver!

Urban Air Adventure Park has over 130 locations and we are so lucky to have one of the latest locations near Lakeline Mall at 13201 R.R. 620 North Suite B (near Lowes and Schlotzky’s).

Urban Air truly has so much to offer … trampolines, rope course, warrior courses, a giant playscape, rock climbing walls, and even a zip line.  Please note:  we were there on a Friday night during which they have a glow in the dark theme going on.  So, if you go any other time during the week the lights are on (and your pictures will be better).  LOL.

Urban Air Playscape

Look at one of Foster’s friends attempting the warrior course … even adults can join in if they like!

I loved that the warrior course had sections that are great for a variety of ages.  Parker could even do some it, but then other areas are challenges for the biggest kids.

And this balance beam reminded me of American Gladiator … I used to love that show.  😉

And kids who are at least 48 inches tall can do the ropes course and zip line.  Foster was bummed he couldn’t do it yet, but it’s a new incentive for him to eat his veggies and protein.

Don’t forget the giant trampolines!

I especially loved how there was a small area of trampolines designated just for kids that are 7 and under.

Foster and his friends really enjoyed the rock climbing walls.  How cute is the Tetris one?  I loved it!

The Urban Air Adventure Park Glow in the Dark Birthday Party

As I mentioned, Friday evening birthday parties are unique in that the lights are dimmed and everything around the facility is glowing in the dark.  Although the party package we chose included table cloths, paper plates, silverware, 10 glow sticks and a few balloons … I of course had to get into the theme a bit and bring some more GLOW party stuff.  I brought some neon paper plates, napkins, and plasticware I had on hand from previous parties.  You can find similar ones here.  I did buy some black plastic tablecloths to make sure the neon party supplies really stood out.  And we even had neon candles, extra glow necklaces and light-up balloons on hand.

The biggest hit, though, were the light-up foam sticks.  Each kid received one at the end of the party.

Thankfully they are made of foam because we had some serious light saber action going on.  If you want to use my “Let’s Glow Crazy!” image, click here.  I love how it turned out.

Each kid also received these fidget spinner bracelets.  You can’t really see them clearly in the photo below, but the boys were amazed by them.

I was completely ready to go for the Glow Party when Foster started telling EVERYBODY a couple days before the party that he was having a Pokemon party.  So, a last-minute stop at Party City allowed me to throw in a few cheap Pokemon supplies.  #pushovermom

Foster said it was the best party ever.

I have to agree.  Long gone are the days of hosting parties at my house!  Our party host was super helpful!  We ordered a few pizzas and juice boxes, and she mostly took care of the rest.  We did order a tasty and beautiful cookie cake from Great American Cookie Company.  How awesome was it?

As long as you go to the store in person, you can hand over your ideas and they will do an amazing job putting it on the cookie cake.  All for less than $40!
